The end of the year often inspires reflection about the past, and the creation of hope for the future. As you reflect and think about what changes you want to make in the new year when it comes to your writing practice, perhaps we can help answer some of the questions you may be asking yourself...

Developmental coaching, where we will discuss your work together and I will provide feedback on up to twenty pages of your writing, and basic coaching, where I can can help you plan and complete your writing projects, slots are now open for 2026. 

I have years of experience coaching academic and pastoral writers. I also have experience as an editor (journals, books, and online publications), researcher, author of books, academic articles, reports on ministry, sermons, and over 700 blog entries. I will listen to your needs as a writer and help you get the work done, revised, and published.

Two WT members recently finished and sent off their book proposals. Many others (including me!) have written or edited their entire books while working at the Writing Table. During our next Mini Writing Retreat (Mon - Jan 5th) we will provide the space for you to work on any stage of writing your proposal, book, or whichever type of project you have on your list. 

The retreat planning document that comes in advance will help you organize your time. Breaking your writing up into manageable tasks helps you keep a sustainable pace while still making progress on your writing. Every writing retreat, as well as membership at the WT helps you to build better habits, write with support, and reach your writing goals. In 2026, Lent at the Writing Table will return! This special season at the Writing Table will run on weekdays from Ash Wednesday (February 18th) to Good Friday (April 3rd).
