Happy to be on my way home from an excellent time at Ring Lake Ranch! Last week we took an in-depth look at writing as a spiritual practice. We also had a wonderful time writing together... ministers, professors, poets, writing novices, published authors, spiritual directors, and students. They were wowed by the reality of how writing together in community is so effective, so merciful, so fun!

I’m glad to be on this journey with you, . I am hoping you find the path to sacred presence - that which is already as close as your breath - today. 

I am praying for the families and beloveds of all who lost lives and homes, those who are still searching for lost children and family members, the loss of sacred places and shared landscape in Texas this weekend. God have mercy for the grief of so many.
