Hello, ! Thank you for your interest in The Longest Night Gathering.*
Please join us tomorrow evening, Sunday, December 22. Your ZOOM link is below.
We
are making a space just for you. We will have readings by Rev. Kyndall Rothaus, Rev. Aurelia Dávila Pratt, Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow, and Rev. Dr. Erin Robinson Hall. Music by guitarists Larry Montgomery and David Wood, and from Alanah Sabatini, Hymns Reclaimed. At the center of the gathering we will also hold an extended period of silence facilitated by nova sturrup, community organizer for the NYC Quakers.
It sounds like just what my soul is craving. You?
Many of us are in the midst of planning and leading many services and events for our communities of faith and our families. Please join us for a time that is set aside to nourish you, to invite you as a participant, a recipient, a child of God who needs rest and care. We will sing and pray, and we will name and honor loss, grief, and laments that we are carrying in this season.
