We're having some growing pains! 😜
Â
Â
Hello and Happy Friday, !
Â
Sometimes things don't go quite as planned (like that Growing Pains moment 😆). You get all excited and something falls through. Then you need to do a few repairs. You're welcome, Gen Xers. Â
Â
Funny story. We've been having just a little trouble getting our multiple systems for Three Minute Ministry Mentor and the Writing Table and email to all play nicely together. But we finally found the issue. Turns out there's a HYPHEN problem.
Â
I know all about HYPHEN problems. I learned shortly after my wedding that no one would use both of my last names. So I went back to probate court to petition for my last name to be hyphenated. Campbell-Reed. Legally. Even then, the seminary, my workplaces, friends, and stores continued to argue with me about what my name was
and how to spell it!Â
Â
This time the HYPHEN problem was in some tags, which are the little messengers that help us know which ones of you are supposed to get which messages from us! It's an important
behind-the-scenes part of this work. The systems don't like the hyphen. Some of you were not getting emails that you expected. So our trusty web expert and digital chaplain, Adam DJ Brett had to reset a bunch of those tags. Delete the hypens. No probate court solution was possible!Â
Â
We've been trying to solve this problem for weeks. Today we think we finally got it worked out. However, it is possible that it resulted in you getting an extra email or two from us today!
Â
You can delete that extra little email - drop it like poor Carol Seaver falling through the floor! Or if you think we've re-routed you into a wrong group, please reach out to Adam, and he
will help you set things right.Â
