It's National Book Lovers Day! Who doesn't love a good book! 

This week I've had fun sharing Pastoral Imagination with pastors are part of the Moses Project. And we just learned that the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship has chosen Pastoral Imagination for their August Book Club. They are even sharing a free discussion guide to go with the book by Rev. Meg Lacy Vega. You can download the guide now! Then have a discussion with your favorite study group, pastor peer group, or Sunday School class.  

Permission to Read 

Over the last couple of years book bans in schools have been on the rise. We think it is important to teach reading, discernment about reading, and how to give ourselves and our children permission to read. Reading is resistance. Check out these recommendations for books by Angela Parker, Christian Scharen, and Candice Benbow.
